This position represents and counsels indigent clients in Criminal matters throughout Oswego County. Working under the direct supervision of the Public Defender and First Assistant Public Defender, the incumbent exercises independent judgment in managing complex cases and litigation strategy.
The Pro Bono Support Attorney (Housing) oversees the screening, placement, and mentoring of full representation pro bono housing cases placed through the Advocacy & Justice Clinic and serves as a primary supervisor for the Landlord Tenant Resource Center (LTRC).
