Job Announcement

East Bay Community Law Center (EBCLC) is hiring a Human Resources Manager based in Berkeley, CA (hybrid role) who will support the organization’s mission and leadership in creating a supportive workplace environment for its diverse and committed staff. We are seeking a racial justice leader with 5+ years of relevant experience who's excited about joining an organization with a black woman-led and majority-women-of-color executive team. The Human Resource Manager loves building relationships across areas of difference, approaches their work with humility and integrity, and is solutions-oriented. Salary range is 102-113k. Requirements: 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

5+ years’ experience in nonprofit human resources, preferably within legal aid and/or mission driven community-based organizations
3+ years’ supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of, and experience in, compensation and benefit administration, performance management, employee relations, recruiting, and federal, state, and local employment laws
Demonstrated commitment to racial equity
Excellent people skills, including the ability to build and manage relationships at all levels of the organization
Excellent oral and written communication skills with diverse audiences and settings
Strong sense of confidentiality, accountability and integrity
Comfort operating both independently and collaboratively
Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and demonstrated success at managing time and meeting deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience and comfort with HRIS and payroll systems
