2023 Kutak-Dodds Prizes
The National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA) Exemplar Awards will honor members of the corporate counsel or private law firm communities who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, vision, dedication and achievement in promoting and supporting equal justice. Each Exemplar honoree has made invaluable commitments and contributions to pro bono and public service, and supports NLADA’s work to provide equal access to justice for all. Also presented will be the Kutak-Dodds Prizes and Beacon of Justice Awards.
Please plan to join us for the 2023 Exemplar Awards Gala in June 2023 where we will honor the Exemplar Award Honorees, the Kutak-Dodds Prize winners, and the Beacon of Justice awardees.
Kutak-Dodds Prizes
The Kutak-Dodds Prizes are jointly sponsored by the Robert J. Kutak Foundation and NLADA, and are bestowed in memory of Robert J. Kutak and Kenneth R. Dodds. Both men were former partners in the Omaha, Nebraska Office of Kutak Rock LLP, and advocates of public service, legal education and high ethical standards throughout their lives. In addition to legal services for low-income individuals, the Kutak Foundation supports education in professional ethics, minority scholarships and a variety of other public interest projects. The Foundation is maintained by Mr. Kutak’s former friends and associates. Learn more...
