WASHINGTON — The National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA) will honor Relativity and its Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Legal Officer, Adam Weiss, with the 2026 Exemplar Award, recognizing their leadership in advancing equal justice through support for legal aid and pro bono organizations.

"Access to justice requires leaders who are willing to invest in solutions that help people and strengthen communities," said NLADA President & CEO April Frazier Camara. "Adam and Relativity have demonstrated that commitment through their leadership and support for legal aid and pro bono organizations. We are proud to honor him with the 2026 Exemplar Award."

The Exemplar Award is one of NLADA's highest honors. Presented annually, it recognizes one or more members of the private bar or corporate community who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in promoting and supporting equal justice.

As Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Legal Officer at Relativity, Weiss helps lead one of the world's leading legal data intelligence companies, whose AI platform supports litigation, investigations, regulatory inquiries, data breach response and other legal use cases. He has championed Relativity's commitment to expanding access to justice through initiatives such as the company’s Justice for Change program, which provides Relativity's technology at no cost to organizations supporting pro bono legal work. Through the Relativity Academic program, the company also provides law schools and paralegal programs with free access to its platform, helping prepare the next generation of legal professionals.

Relativity advances the role technology can play in strengthening the legal profession and expanding access to justice. Guided by the belief that knowledge reveals truth, and truth underpins justice, Weiss has worked to build partnerships and support initiatives that equip legal professionals with the tools they need to better serve their clients and communities.

"It is an honor to receive the NLADA Exemplar Award on behalf of Relativity. At Relativity, we believe technology can help make the pursuit of justice more accessible and effective," said Adam Weiss, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Legal Officer at Relativity. “We’re proud to use our technology and resources to support organizations advancing justice, and we’re deeply grateful for this recognition."

Before joining Relativity in 2023, Weiss served as Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel of Cornerstone OnDemand, where he helped guide the company's growth from an emerging technology company to a global enterprise. During his 16-year tenure, he helped lead the company through global expansion, an initial public offering, multiple acquisitions, the creation of the Cornerstone OnDemand Foundation and a $5.2 billion take-private transaction.

Weiss earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Stanford University and a Juris Doctor from the UCLA School of Law. He serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations and is actively involved in his local community.

The 2026 Exemplar Award will be presented during NLADA's annual Exemplar Awards Gala on Wednesday, Sept. 24, in Washington, D.C.
