Cassidy Waskowicz leads NLADA’s development and compliance efforts. In this role, she draws on her experience across the nonprofit, government, corporate, and political sectors to design innovative, efficient strategies that both make business sense and advance justice for all.
Most recently, Cassidy served as Development Director at Neighborhood Legal Services Program, where she led fundraising and communications initiatives. She also held leadership roles at the National Homelessness Law Center, including Acting Director of Development and Communications and Pro Bono Counsel, advancing resource development and cultivating pro bono partnerships to support advocacy on behalf of people experiencing homelessness.
Earlier in her career, Cassidy worked at a multi-national law firm focusing on corporate matters, including securities regulation, asset securitization, and real estate transactions. She also served as Acting General Counsel of the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission, where she helped investigate the causes of the 2007 housing and financial crisis.
Cassidy earned her B.A. in History from Wellesley College and her J.D. from Cornell Law School.
