Litigator, Senior Litigator, and Deputy Director
Location: Remote (U.S.-based)
Priority Deadline: November 26, 2025
Just Futures Law is a movement law organization that defends and builds the power of immigrant rights and criminal justice activists, organizers, and community groups. Our mission is to prevent the surveillance, criminalization, and deportation of immigrants and people of color in the United States.
Founded in 2019, our work is grounded in a movement lawyering and racial justice framework. We are a growing, remote-based team of eight with a fast-paced, collaborative, and values-driven culture. Our staff are located across CA, DC, GA, IL, MA, NC, and OR. Occasional travel is required.
Just Futures Law seeks experienced, committed litigators to lead and support strategic legal challenges against repressive immigration policies, surveillance practices, and the erosion of First Amendment rights. This is an exciting opportunity for civil rights litigators who are passionate about supporting grassroots movements and directly impacted communities.
We are hiring for 2-3 positions and are open to hiring at one of several seniority levels, depending on experience and organizational fit. Salary ranges scale accordingly (see below) and will be aligned with Just Futures Law’s Compensation Equity Guidelines:
Deputy Director, Litigation – a senior attorney role (7 years of litigation experience), developing litigation strategy, supervising team members, and playing a leading role in significant cases.
Senior Litigator – an experienced litigator (5 years of litigation experience) responsible for leading cases and contributing to strategy, without program management responsibilities.
Litigator – an experienced litigator (3 years of litigation experience) responsible for supporting cases and contributing to strategy, without program management responsibilities.
The selected candidate’s title, responsibilities, and salary will be determined by their level of directly relevant experience. These are full-time, remote, exempt positions reporting to the Legal Director.
