The Desmond Law Group PS is seeking a talented, energetic, and dedicated attorney to represent clients in dependency and termination of parental rights cases. We help clients when they have CPS file a case against them in court and work with clients to help them successfully get their children back and/or prevent their removal from the home. We also represent children in a number of these cases as well.
This is not a functionary position or a transactional law job, we are in the courts of multiple counties in and around Olympia, WA. You will get hands-on court experience, know and work with opposing counsel, be in the court frequently, and really get to work with a lot of clients who are facing some very difficult times in their life as you advocate for them in court and advise them out of court.
Work in a team environment with attorneys experienced in this area of law. Collaborate on cases with fellow attorneys in a manner that will allow you to contribute to other’s successes and allow us to learn from each other.
This a full time and long term position. We are looking for someone who can commit to a minimum of three years to working at the firm. We reimburse bar dues and CLE fees. Includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a retirement plan. Experience preferred but not required.
