Position Description: 

Real Estate Paralegal for full-time employment in either their Chicago, New York, Phoenix, or Washington, DC offices.
Our client, an Am 100 law firm, is actively seeking a seasoned Real Estate Paralegal for full-time employment in either their Chicago, New York, Phoenix, or Washington, DC offices.
This key role will bolster the Hospitality & Leisure practice group and report to the Practice Group Leader. Primary responsibilities are directed by practice group lawyers and include:
Conducting and coordinating due diligence, including reviewing title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and supporting documents.
Assisting with the preparation and review of real estate conveyance and closing documents.
Managing and coordinating the closing of complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, as well as debt and equity transactions.
Handling the creation and management of signature page packages, ensuring the delivery of all necessary documents at closing, and compiling detailed closing books.
Preparing and filing UCC financing statements, as well as ordering and analyzing related searches.
Facilitating entity formation and maintenance, including associated filings.
Managing the preparation and assembly of officers' certificates, resolutions,
organizational documents, and other closing deliverables.
Undertaking special assignments that may involve routine fact or legal research and associated filings.

Requirements: 

At least 5 years of direct real estate experience, preferably within a law firm, in-house legal department, or title company setting.
Experience with large and sophisticated transactions, and proficiency in handling titles and surveys.
Hospitality industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple projects independently.
Excellent client service and communication skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across various levels of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PDF tools, document management software, and timekeeping software.
Willingness to work overtime as required.
This position is ideal for candidates who demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a commitment to confidentiality, with the ability to navigate complex legal and factual issues effectively.
Candidates must have very stable backgrounds with experience working for a major law firm, an In-house legal department, or a title company (large companies, please)
