Position Description: 

Role

Assist legal and dispute resolution departments in providing legal services to various clients throughout the company.
Specific areas of expertise will include contracts and litigation.
Drafts/reviews correspondence/documents and performs research on various topics.
Maintains company minute books, drafts corporate resolutions, and assists in company director and shareholder meetings.
Communicates with lawyers the position supports clients, and outside law firms.
Organizes/supervises filing and retention of records using Company electronic databases and programs.
Will perform administrative support services including, travel, expense reporting, invoice processing, vendor qualification and other duties as assigned.

Scope/Complexity

Works under limited supervision.
Applies knowledge of the job, and company policies and principles to complete a wide range of tasks.
Complete understanding of the general and technical aspects of the job.

Requirements: 

Responsibility

Projects assigned require ordinary problem resolution using standard policies and procedures and practical application of the general and technical aspects of the job.
Contacts are primarily with direct supervisor and other exempt professionals in the company.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree and a Paralegal Certificate
3 to 5 yrs of relevant work experience.

Demonstrates initiative,
Team attitude/behavior and ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
