Position Description: 

Organization Overview: Lakeshore Legal Aid serves people living with low income, older adults, and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in a holistic manner to address clients’ legal issues and improve our communities. Lakeshore provides free, direct legal representation in southeast Michigan and the thumb and client intake, advice, and brief legal services throughout Michigan via our attorney-staffed hotline. Our practice areas include housing, family, consumer, elder, education, and public benefits law.

Position Overview:
Lakeshore Legal Aid is seeking an experienced full-time Senior Executive Assistant. This position will work directly with the Chief Executive Officer and closely with the Executive Team and aid in carrying out Lakeshore’s mission by providing high-quality administrative and clerical assistance.

General Responsibilities:
•Manage information flows in a timely and accurate manner
•Format information for internal and external communication - memos, emails,
•presentations, reports, etc.
•Manage calendars and schedules meetings
•Run ad hoc reports, audits, submits and tracks data and information.
•Make photocopies; mail, scan and email documents; and perform other clerical functions.
•Perform other work-related duties as assigned by the CEO or a CEO designee.

Requirements: 

Qualifications:
•High School Diploma/GED is required
•Possesses at least 10 years' experience of administrative and/or office support experience
•Possesses 3 to 5 years of experience supporting senior level executives. (Preferred)
•Professional written and verbal communication skills are essential as well as the ability to exercise discretion when processing confidential information.
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
•Advanced computer and technology skills with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365.
•Demonstrate professional behavior, teamwork and dependability.
•Ability to determine and apply priorities and be a problem solver; ability to act as a gatekeeper and escalate relevant information to executives as needed.
•Ability and a willingness to adapt to changing needs.
