The Buhai Center is seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager to oversee and strengthen the organization’s administrative functions, including coordination with external human resources, accounting and IT consultants. This role is key to ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the organization and supporting its mission to provide access to family law justice.
Key Features of this Job:
• Lead and coordinate the Buhai Center’s core administrative systems, ensuring efficient daily operations (e.g., office management, scheduling, and internal communications).
• Oversee day-to-day administrative aspects of finance, human resources, and technology operations in collaboration with external consultants (e.g., payroll oversight, benefits administration, systems troubleshooting).
• Act as primary liaison with vendors and consultants, including finance, HR, IT, insurance, and building management partners.
• Drive improvements to systems, workflows, and technology tools to better support the organization’s mission and growth.
• Supervise administrative team members to maintain a high-performing operations team.
Start Date: May 2025
Position: Full-time, Exempt

Essential Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as nonprofit management, public administration, or social services is preferred. Candidates without a degree may be considered if they have significant, direct experience managing nonprofit operations.
• Ability to coordinate daily office operations efficiently, collaborating with external consultants or vendors in areas like finance, HR, and technology.
• Experience managing projects, budgeting, and reporting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for working effectively with internal teams, leadership, and external partners.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to similar software tools.
• Ability to tackle operational challenges and maintain accuracy in financial and administrative records.
