E-Discovery Attorney

The California Civil Rights Department (CRD) is the largest state civil rights enforcement agency in the country. It enforces the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), Unruh Civil Rights Act, Disabled Person Act, Ralph Civil Rights Act, and the California Trafficking Victims Protection Act. The Department has jurisdiction over both private and public entities operating within the State of California, including corporate entities, private sector companies that contract with the State of California, and all State departments and Local governments. The CRD receives, investigates, and initiates individual and systemic discrimination complaints in its offices throughout California. CRD’s Legal Division litigates individual, class, group, and system cases in all California jurisdictions, including state and federal courts. It also leads education and outreach efforts to civil rights stakeholders. CRD’s Legal Division employs over thirty attorneys and staff throughout California.
