Position Description: 

The Office of the State Public Defender (OSPD) is a fast-paced and exciting place to learn! This opportunity gets students familiar with career possibilities within State service and provides hands-on experience that will get you excited for your future!
We are looking for a Student Assistant (SA) to support the Sacramento Law Office. In this role, you will organize and index case materials, assist caseworkers with document production, projects, and other case-related needs. In addition, you will arrange attorney/client legal calls and visits and get first-hand experience attending moot courts with caseworkers and assisting with the preparation and service of filings in the Superior Courts of California.

Salary range: 
$2,786.00-$3,755.00 per month
