Senior Attorney – Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. CED Unit
Full-time Exempt Position

Legal Services is seeking a full-time Florida licensed attorney with a minimum of 5-years’ experience to work in its Community Economic Development Unit. The Senior Attorney will promote the delivery of high-quality legal advocacy by members of Unit. Lead the Unit in developing strategies for the delivery of creative, effective advocacy. Conduct high quality, complex legal advocacy in all areas practiced by the Unit. Co-counsel cases with Unit members. Possess a high level of legal proficiency and continuously develop and expand legal skills and knowledge. Identify cross-Unit issues, and cooperatively work with other Units to meet the legal needs of clients.

Legal Services of Greater Miami and its 30 lawyers have provided legal representation to low-income communities for 56 years. The firm is a leader in the legal aid community and has been recognized for its creative and aggressive advocacy for its clients.

The Community Economic Development Unit assist clients with issues related to developing and preserving affordable housing as well as economic business development in low-income communities. Applicants should have at least 5 years’ experience working in the areas of affordable housing, real estate, corporate, and/or administrative law, and be passionate about promoting justice and overcoming barriers facing low-income people.

Salary/Benefits:
$75K commensurate with experience.
