Position Description:

About Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center:
The Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center is a non-profit legal organization with the mission of advocating for children and youth, driving systemic reform, and boldly challenging the status quo so that every young person who has experienced trauma or instability has the opportunity to thrive. Staff attorneys at the Children’s Law Center are responsible for providing zealous advocacy and legal representation to clients involved in domestic violence, family stability, education, and young adult civil legal matters. The work of our staff attorneys also advances our organization’s systemic reform efforts.

Invitation for Fellowship Proposals:
The Children’s Law Center invites letters of interest from applicants interested in applying for a post-graduate fellowship hosted by our agency. We are interested in supporting projects for applications by rising 3Ls, recent law grads, and judicial clerks to the Skadden Fellowship Foundation, Equal Justice Works, or other fellowship programs. A successful candidate will be able to create a fellowship proposal rooted in their passion and experience, while also seeking to expand or enhance the Children’s Law Center’s existing work and mission.

At the outset of the fellowship application process, the Children’s Law Center must first agree to serve as your host organization. More than one individual may be sponsored for a fellowship opportunity. While the Children’s Law Center is committed to sustainable work furthering its mission and the professional development of its staff, please know that a fellowship award does not guarantee employment with the Children’s Law Center when the fellowship term expires.
