Position Description: 

Idaho Legal Aid Services, Inc., www.idaholegalaid.org, is seeking applicants for a newly funded attorney position based at its Nampa Family Justice Center Office to serve clients from across southwest Idaho. The attorney will focus on representing survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking in family law, housing, public entitlements, and other related cases. Services will range from legal advice through litigation. The successful applicant will join two other attorneys and two support staff at the office. Supervision and support will be provided by ILAS's Nampa office.

The Nampa Family Justice Center, www.cityofnampa.us/190/Family-Justice-Center, is a partnership of agencies dedicated to ending family violence and sexual assault through prevention and response by providing comprehensive, client-centered services in a single location. First created in 2005, the NFJC annually serves thousands of survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking from across southwest Idaho.

This is a full time position of 37.5 hours per week. Staff are eligible to participate in a telecommuting program after six months at ILAS.

Extra consideration given to applicants with 1) litigation or family law experience, 2) a history of public service, and 3) fluency in Spanish. The entry-level annual salary for this position for a person with one year or less of experience is $50,000 (37.5 hour week). Requirements:

Salary range:
