Anatomy of the Sixth Amendment

Webinar
Thursday, August 06, 2020 3:00 pm to Thursday, August 06, 2020 3:00 pm

Please join NLADA on August 6th at 3:00 PM (EDT) for an exciting discussion regarding an interactive justice system planning exercise, the "Anatomy of the Sixth Amendment." We will be joined by the creator of this exercise, Paul Lovelis, with the Pima County Public Defense Services, along with Megan Page, Chief Assistant Pima County Public Defender and Daniel South, Bureau Chief at the Pima County Attorney’s Office.

Learn about the origin of the exercise and how it can help all stakeholders in your jurisdiction’s criminal justice system think about the rights enshrined in the Sixth Amendment. The tool helps you look at your own system and self-assess: what are we doing well, where do we need some improvement, and what are specific ways we could improve?

The exercise is fun to do and has been used in multiple jurisdictions. Paul, Megan and Daniel will share how they used it in Pima County to develop priorities for improvement there and offer suggestions for others interested in using the Anatomy of the Sixth Amendment in their jurisdiction.

We hope you can register today and join us on August 6th for this important discussion.
