Our Law Group is seeking to engage an entry level associate attorney for its San Diego office. This is a long-term position with substantial opportunity for growth.
Our Firm specializes in civil litigation and criminal defense (both State and Federal). We represent both plaintiffs and defendants across a variety of civil litigation and arbitration matters including but not limited to contracts and business disputes, construction, lending as well as various torts, including personal and economic injury. In the very near future our Firm shall engage in the family law field as well.

SeeThe Key Responsibilities for this position include:
- Engage in communication with prospective and existing clients, draft and file legal documents, including complaints, summons, answers to complaints, pleadings, discovery requests, and dispositive motions;
- Prepare for and attend Case Management Conference hearings, deposition, mediations, and settlement conferences;
- The successful applicant must be able to effectively manage client communications, providing regular case updates and strategic guidance and ensure that all such communications are fully and clearly recorded in our Firm’s database.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and paralegals to build effective case strategies and conduct legal research as necessary;
- Demonstrate consistent and proactive initiative toward developing and improving the Firm’s operations, staff engagement and performance, as well as the acumen to identify potential new client areas;
Qualifications & Requirements:
- The successful applicant must be a member in-good-standing with the State Bar of California. Minimum active civil litigation experience in California is not required.
- Exceptional written, analytical, and verbal communication skills are essential along with attention to detail. Also, a respectful and team-oriented attitude along with the ability to work well both independently and under pressure are a must.
- Proficiency with our Firm’s case management software (MyCase) is not necessary as in-depth training shall be provided;
- While desirable, command of Spanish language is not a mandatory requirement;
Salary and Benefits:
- A Competitive base salary is available for the selected applicant with a start from $ 80,000 to $ 110,000 starting with the first year;
- Performance bonuses are offered as correlated with the results of the cases assigned and clients engaged by the successful applicant;
- Health and dental insurance are provided after the probation period and engagement of the attorney on a permanent, full-time basis;
- A generous paid vacation time after the first year is offered with subsequent increases in consecutive years;
- At the Firm’s sole discretion, a flexible/hybrid (home) remote work option can be available occasionally;
- The opportunity to become a junior partner exists for the proven individual;
