The Domestic Violence Clinic (DVC) Graduate Teaching Fellowship is a two-year, full-time position. DVC fellows receive intensive, supportive mentorship as they teach law students enrolled in the Clinic and engage in direct representation of survivors of intimate partner abuse. Fellows work with Clinic faculty to hone their skills in areas of teaching, litigation, and legal scholarship. In their first year, DVC fellows are also part of the Women's Law and Public Policy Fellowship Program, where they have opportunities to collaborate with lawyer-fellows working on a variety of women's rights issues at placements throughout Washington, D.C. and to meet and learn from national and local leaders in the feminist legal community. Upon completion of the fellowship, fellows are well-prepared for a career in clinical or podium law teaching or public interest practice.
