Appellate Defender - Vermont

Appellate Defender needed to provide zealous and creative representation for indigent clients with criminal and juvenile cases before the Vermont Supreme Court. The position will also include front-line representation of children in State custody and work for juvenile policy reform through litigation and advocacy in the Juvenile Defender Division.

The Appellate and Juvenile Defender Divisions are busy, client-centered, and committed to producing excellent work and achieving great results. The successful candidate will be similarly motivated and have top-notch writing and research skills, post-bar experience in appellate criminal defense, and an interest in juvenile law.
