The NLADA Annual Conference is the premier skills-building and knowledge-sharing event for the civil legal aid, public defense, and public interest law communities. Advocates will get access to substantive information and professional skills training to meet the legal needs of low-income people. The 2025 NLADA Annual Conference will take place in-person on October 29 - November 1, 2025.
We want to share some important updates about this year’s NLADA Annual Conference. In response to the shifting national landscape and the evolving needs of our community, we are reimagining the format of the conference to better support strategic collaboration, thought leadership, and collective advocacy.
NLADA Annual Conference Reimagined to Focus, Strategize and Collaborate
-
This year's conference will be organized around themes (e.g. Federal Programs, Benefits & Services, Funding & Philanthropy, Media & Messaging, Community Engagement, Rule of Law & Due Process) instead of traditional tracks
-
We will have larger group convenings with expert speakers and fewer breakout sessions
-
The RFP process will be focused on topics related to each theme (more information coming soon).
