Tubman is seeking a full-time Family Law attorney to provide legal representation and advice to low income individuals and families regarding Family Law and Orders for Protection cases.
Other responsibilities include: recruiting, training and consulting with volunteer attorneys; maintaining and developing community relationships with domestic abuse agencies and other service providers; assisting in program policies, procedures and evaluations; and participating in collaborative groups working on issues related to victim services and family law issues.
Minimum Qualifications
• JD degree and current MN license required
• 3 years litigation and trial experience required
• Experience representing low-income and diverse client populations
Preferred Candidate
• 5 or more years’ experience representing on Family Law cases and Order for Protection cases.
• Experience working with and recruiting volunteers attorneys
