Checchi and Company Consulting, Inc. (www.checchiconsulting.com) seeks a Rule of Law Specialist to assist with new business development activities and provide technical and management support to the company’s USAID-funded projects in the areas of access to justice, justice sector reform, mediation/ADR, legal education, court administration and bar association development. The Rule of Law Specialist will be based in the company’s home office in Washington, D.C. and will be available for substantial international travel.
Qualifications for this position include a law degree, fluency in Spanish, excellent writing skills, and a minimum of five years of professional experience, preferably as a public defender, prosecutor, law clerk, legal advisor, and/or international rule of law practitioner.
