Franklin County PA is seeking to contract with an attorney to serve as the Juvenile Public Defender to represent juveniles charged with delinquent acts in Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
This vital position is responsible for representing about 200 juvenile defendants during approximately 375 hearings annually. Duties include consultation with the juvenile client, investigation and representation of the juveniles in juvenile proceedings. - Graduated with a Juris Doctor degree.
- Are licensed and admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar.
- Are able to attend hearings, generally held on Monday mornings, Thursday afternoons and Friday mornings.
- Able to commit 24 hours per week, 12 hours of which involve court hearings.
