The Legal Aid Society of Westchester provides quality mandated criminal defense to indigent individuals charged with serious felony crimes throughout Westchester County, New York. The Society seeks New York State Bar Admitted attorneys who wish to be part of our exciting team. The successful applicant will have excellent research and writing skills. The Society requires attorneys to have a valid New York State Drivers license and a car. Attorneys travel to all local courts throughout the county for court appearances. Attorneys work collaboratively with social work and investigative colleagues in small teams to provide the best possible representation to our clients. Salary range is $72,000-$95,000 and is commensurate with experiences. Additional benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, paid vacation, paid sick days, all state and federal holidays, as well as pension contributions.
New York State Bar Admission is required. A valid New York State Drivers license and a car is required.
