Capital Collateral Regional Counsel-North represents death sentenced clients in their capital post conviction proceedings. The primary purpose of an investigator/mitigation specialist is to reinvestigate the case and the client's background (guilt phase and penalty phase); meet with the client and his/her family; develop personal, family, and social histories; collect, review, analyze, and summarize records; interview witnesses and prepare memorandum of witness interviews; conduct research on a variety of sociological, scientific, and psychological issues; conduct crime scene investigation, and travel extensively.
College degree and a valid driver's license. A commitment to working with indigent clients.
