Vermont Legal Aid seeks a full-time staff attorney in its Elder Law Project located in Burlington, Vermont. Responsibilities will be focused on representing Medicare beneficiaries in administrative appeals, as well as other advocacy on behalf of low-income Vermont seniors. Salary is $47,085 + D.O.E. with excellent fringe benefits.
Applicants must have excellent written and oral skills and demonstrated experience in public interest law, civil rights law or legal services. Applicants admitted to practice in Vermont preferred. Some in-state travel required.
