Position Description: 

Reports to Managing Director, Center for Education and Financial Capability. Leads the strategy and execution of programs and products that engage pre-law advisors and students, supporting the goals of access to and affordability of legal education. Responsible for relationship development and maintenance, primarily in the pre-law space. Also serves as educational trainer, delivering dynamic educational sessions in person and online, and content expert, assisting with the creation of materials to support pre-law students and pre-law advisors. Works collaboratively with the Education Services, Product Development, Student and Professional Success and Marketing teams to execute area goals.

Requirements: 

Required Skills:

  • Sets strategy, goals and benchmarks for all pre-law initiatives – including both internal and collaborative projects – and executes yearly plans;
  • Provides day-to-day leadership of the Pre-Law Services team;
  • Provides overall strategy and organization for pre-law related conferences, law fairs and other events
  • Conducts in person and online presentations;
  • Establishes and maintains direct contact with pre-law advisors and other key individuals and organizations, including in person visits, phone calls, webinars, emails and written communication;
  • Acts as the company ambassador at industry conferences, tradeshows, and other assigned events;
  • Maintains knowledge of Company products and services and how they can be utilized from multiple viewpoints;
  • Maintains social media presence to promote Company, for lead development and nurturing, and other opportunities in collaboration with marketing;
  • Maintains CMS records, including updated contact information, visit tracking and campaign participation;
  • Offers analysis and recommendations for new services and products that could benefit the pre-law space;
  • Keeps Managing Director aware of any red flag issues under his/her direction;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience: Education

  • Master's degree and 10+ years of relevant work experience; terminal degree strongly preferred.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Pre-law or Law school experience required;
  • 10+ years' experience in education-related occupation; on-campus pre-law/law school experience preferred;
  • 10+ years' experience in client management and relationship building;
  • Experience conducting in person, phone and online meetings and presentations;
  • Superior writing, verbal communication, presentation and critical thinking skills;
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills; project and time management skills;
  • Strong knowledge of the law school application, admission, financial and academic-related processes;
  • Strong knowledge of the impact of financial education on personal and organizational outcomes;
  • Passion and enthusiasm for legal education and student success.
