Catholic Charities Migration and Refugee Services in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking an Associate Director of the Immigration Legal Services (ILS) program to work with our dynamic and growing team. ILS staff work on a variety of immigration legal issues, both with USCIS and in immigration court. Attorneys regularly represent clients in removal proceedings; both detained and non-detained.
While a legal background is required, this is not a position that regularly practices law. This position manages the administrative functions of the program including supervising the intake process, recruiting and managing volunteers, writing and reporting on grants, and conducting community outreach around immigration legal services. Salary is $70,000 minimum and is commensurate with experience.
• Fiscal, administrative and supervisory experience required with experience in grant and fund solicitation preferred and experience in a non-profit setting preferred.
• Must have excellent leadership and organizational skills, strong detail oriented skills with the ability to supervise and work as part of a team.
• Graduate of accredited law school (JD) and be admitted and in good standing with the State of Ohio Bar, or have current full accreditation by the Department of Justice through employment at Catholic Charities Diocese of Cleveland.
