Inner City Law Center (ICLC) is a nonprofit law firm on Skid Row. We are looking for extraordinary people to help us end homelessness in Los Angeles. Founded on the fundamental principle that every person should always be treated with dignity and respect, ICLC fights for justice for low-income tenants, working-poor families, people who have disabilities or are experiencing homelessness, people living with HIV/AIDS, and homeless veterans.
Position Description: Inner City Law Center seeks a Project Coordinator to provide support to our Homeless Veterans Project. The Project Coordinator should be comfortable with compiling large amounts of data and organizing aggregate data into reader-friendly reports.
The Project Coordinator will also communicate with partner agencies and serve as the entry point for all incoming client referrals to track them for scheduling and grant deliverable purposes. They will provide administrative support to the team’s attorneys and paralegals by requesting records from government agencies, hospitals, jails/prisons and other institutions, and being thorough in their follow-up. In addition, the Project Coordinator will audit, update, and maintain our case management and electronic filing system. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
The position is designed to help the project’s Directing and Supervising Attorneys with efficient administration of the team and will assist them with other specific duties as the needs of the team change. As this is a dynamic project, the Project Coordinator will be expected and encouraged to help the team develop and improve its systems for carrying out its work in a more efficient and effective manner.
