STAFF ATTORNEY POSITION AVAILABLE
Legal Aid of East Tennessee (LAET) seeks a full-time Staff Attorney available to work out of the Chattanooga office to provide high-quality, comprehensive legal services to families and individuals served by LAET. A demonstrated commitment to exceptional legal work and equal access to justice is required.
This position will include general litigation with a focus on housing. In addition to case handling duties, the successful applicant, in collaboration with other staff, will help with the coordination of LAET’s volunteer attorney project.
LAET offers a generous benefits package. Continuation of this position is contingent on continued grant funding. Position is anticipated to begin immediately.
Candidates must be admitted to the Tennessee Bar or admitted to the bar of another state with the ability to waive into Tennessee and have one year of relevant experience.
