Central West Justice Center (CWJC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Community Legal Aid, seeks a staff attorney to provide legal assistance in immigration law matters for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. The attorney will handle a mix of cases involving VAWA petitions, U and T Visas, SIJS petitions, and asylum claims. The attorney will be based in CWJC’s Worcester office. The attorney will engage in community outreach and will assist in the preparation of periodic grant reports.

QUALIFICATIONS: Admission to Mass. Bar, or eligible to sit for next Mass. Bar examination, or entitled to practice under a Mass. practice rule. Fluency in Spanish strongly preferred. Prior experience in immigration law strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience working with diverse communities strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a collaborative setting are important.
