Position Description: 

Outten & Golden LLP, a nationally recognized employee-side employment law firm, seeks a part-time senior associate or of counsel to work in its Executives and Professionals Practice Group representing individuals in negotiating employment, partnership, compensation, separation, and other agreements. This attorney will have extensive client contact and the opportunity to work on a variety of transactions.

Requirements: 

The ideal candidate has: considerable experience representing individuals in the negotiation of executive employment and separation agreements and other transactional documents, plus very strong drafting, writing, analytical, and client- management skills and a commitment to protecting individual employment rights. Strong preference for applicants with experience with some or all of the following: offer letters and employment agreements for executives, managers, and other employees; partnership, shareholder, and LLC agreements; compensation, bonus, and equity agreements; severance, retention, and change-of-control agreements; expatriate agreements, including employment, severance, and secondment agreements; independent contractor and talent agreements, particularly in the entertainment industry; corporate restructuring agreements; and compensation issues, including deferred compensation issues under IRC Section 409A.
