• Interview and Counsel clients, prepare legal forms and client’s declarations;
• Work in conjunction with the staff attorneys in cases that involve family law and immigration;
• Work collaboratively with court personnel.
• Certificate of completion of an appropriate paralegal program;
• Experience in providing assistance to the poverty population, including experience in interviewing clients;
• Knowledge of family, immigration and civil law;
• Self-motivated, takes initiative, ability to learn quickly;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to be flexible in job duties;
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred;
• Have understanding of custody/visitation and domestic violence issues.
