Investigator/Mitigation Specialist

Capital Collateral Regional Counsel-North represents death row inmates in their capital post conviction proceedings. The primary role of an investigator/mitigation specialist is to re-investigate the case and the client's background; meet with the client and his/her family; develop personal, family, and social histories; collect, review, analyze, and summarize records; interview witnesses and prepare memorandum of witness interviews; and conduct research on a variety of sociological, scientific, and psychological topics. The position requires travel.
