POSITION SUMMARY
NLADA is seeking a creative, flexible and enthusiastic individual to serve as our Digital Design Intern. This individual will provide integral graphic design support to our Communications Department. As the Digital Design Intern, you will get a chance to enhance your portfolio by:
- Creating and posting graphics to NLADA’s various social media profiles
- Designing layouts for newsletters, marketing emails and other digital communication tools
- Producing print materials for marketing our various conferences and events
- Drafting layouts for printed papers, program books and reports
- Editing video and photos
- Assisting the communications team with various tasks as assigned
The NLADA Communications Department has a friendly, fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As such, our Digital Design Intern should:
- Be an undergraduate student with relevant graphic design coursework, or a graduate student with a minimum of one (1) year working experience in a relevant field
- Have strong organizational skills and keen detail-orientation
- Possess a positive attitude and demonstrated work ethic
- Have deep understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Premier, etc.)
- Be familiar with Online Publishing tools (Canva, Pixlr, etc.)
