Franklin County, Pennsylvania is seeking to contract with an attorney to serve as the Juvenile Public Defender to represent juveniles charged with delinquent acts in Franklin County. Duties include consultation with juvenile clients, investigation and representation of the juveniles in juvenile court proceedings.
A Juris Doctor degree; admission to the Pennsylvania Bar; availability to attend hearing, generally held on Monday mornings, Thursday afternoons and Friday mornings; and ability to commit approximately 24 hours per week, of which about 12 hours will involve court hearings.
