Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld (“WRR”), a prominent union-side labor and employee benefits law firm with offices in Alameda, Honolulu, Los Angeles, and Sacramento, seeks candidates for four positions in its Alameda, California office. These positions offer opportunities for significant case-handling responsibilities and direct client interaction, as well as a competitive salary and excellent benefits. A Litigation Attorney with relevant experience. WRR is known for its advocacy on behalf of unions and working people, and seeks an Associate to work on traditional labor and litigation matters, including employee benefits litigation. Applicants should have at least three (3) years’ experience, must be detail-oriented, and possess exemplary research, writing, and analytical skills. Duties include all stages of litigation including drafting briefs, conducting discovery, including document collection and review, motion practice and preparing for trial as well as advocating at NLRB and PERB proceedings, and Union representation at arbitration. Admission to the California bar is required; judicial clerkship is a plus. An ERISA attorney to join their Trust Fund practice group. Applicants should have at least three (3) years’ experience, be detail-oriented, and possess exemplary research, writing, and analytical skills. Duties include trust fund litigation, plan drafting and review, compliance, working with and advising plan professionals, and providing legal advice to Trust Fund personnel and Trustees. Admission to the California bar is required; judicial clerkship is a plus. Applicants must be detail-oriented and possess exemplary research, writing, and analytical skills. Current 3Ls, recent law graduates, and experienced attorneys will be considered.
