DRC attorneys and advocates work statewide within eight issue-based practice groups.

SENIOR ATTORNEY OR STAFF ATTORNEY II– INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES

The Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Practice Group is currently hiring both a Senior Attorney (Sacramento office) and a Staff Attorney 2 (statewide). The Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Practice Group is a statewide team of attorneys specializing in the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Medicaid Act, and other state and federal laws. We work at the cutting edge of disability-rights advocacy, public policy and legal representation to help our clients obtain meaningful work at a competitive wage, challenge disability discrimination by public entities, avoid institutionalization, and access regional center services in home and community based settings.
