Summary of Responsibilities: Responsible for providing administrative, paralegal and social service support to the Parent Representation Attorney in accordance with Jackson County and Jackson County Youth Court policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain client files, work with clients to develop a case timeline and tickler system, communicate with clients, identify social service needs of the client and make referrals to appropriate social service providers. Maintain a database and make reports as directed by the attorney. Obtain all records regarding the client and the family. Consult with attorney regarding the development of the theory and case strategy.
High School Diploma or its equivalent is required. Master’s degree in Social Work or related field or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and minimum of (5) five years’ working in a legal or social service field. Experience in Youth Court is preferred.
