Position Description: 

Legal Services of North Florida has an opening for a Staff Attorney in our Quincy Office. Candidates should be a member of The Florida Bar. Ability to work independently and in team environments, to analyze complex issues and to obtain results to positively impact the client and community will also be considered. The attorney will have a diverse caseload of civil legal matters affecting the low-income and vulnerable residents, which could include foreclosure defense, landlord-tenant matters, family law, consumer matters, probate, administrative law, and certain special projects.

Entry level salary of $46,000 is negotiable depending on experience. Comprehensive fringe benefits package includes paid holidays, paid vacation (which after two years, increases to five weeks per year), sick leave, and, after sixty days, fully paid health insurance for employee & dependent children, retirement plan, term life and disability insurance.

Requirements: 

Law school graduate; preference giving to those admitted to the Florida Bar. Consideration will be given to those who sat for the July 2017 Florida Bar exam.
