Training OverviewThe Sentencing and Disposition Intensive Skills Training is designed specifically for public defenders, social workers and experts to develop and improve their overall sentencing disposition skills as a team. This includes: interviewing, investigation, litigation, mitigation, and advocacy skills and techniques needed to impact sentencing at all phases of criminal defense. Join your colleagues for two days in Baltimore to learn new skills and improve old ones. National Legal Aid & Defender Association, University of Maryland School of Social Work Office of Continuing Professional Education and State of Maryland Office of the Public Defender partnered in presenting this unique program to help you meet the challenges of preparing for dispositions as a team.
