Litigation and Advocacy Directors Conference July 29 - August 1, 2012
NLADA is very excited to be sponsoring the 2012 Litigation and Advocacy Directors’ Conference (LADC) in Austin from July 30 through August 1.
As in past years, the conference will target more senior advocates and project directors, those who are responsible for setting and implementing the advocacy agendas of legal aid programs across the country.
Peer-to-peer strategizing and learning will occur around several clusters of issues:
- Substantive Law
- Litigation Skills
- Non-Litigation Strategies, including Legislative/Administrative Advocacy and Media
- Racial Justice
- Leading and Managing Advocacy
- Technology, Ethics and Changing Court Rules
We will continue to develop this conference with a design team of litigation and advocacy directors from across the nation.
We are also planning to involve younger and emerging advocacy leaders in the design process to make sure that compelling opportunities are included to allow for intergenerational learning, mentoring and networking.
