NLADA CornerstoneCornerstone is published three times each year and is sent to all members, donors, the media and other interested parties. It features insightful analyses, often written by practitioners in the field, of trends affecting providers of civil legal aid and public defense and pays particular attention to movements that impact our efforts to provide high-quality client representation and otherwise serve the nation's poor.

Selected articles from recent issues and complete versions of some earlier issues of Cornerstone are now available in our library, and from the Cornerstone Archive.

The September-December — 2008 issue of Cornerstone includes articles on reentry, expanding legal services for seniors, Michigan's public defense system, understanding stress in a public services environment and much more.

NLADA welcomes outside submissions to Cornerstone. For information on submitting an article to Cornerstone, contact the Cornerstone staff
