Hearing on Legal Services/Justice Gap Postponed

Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) has requested a hearing on the “Justice Gap”. Originally scheduled for November 13, the hearing was postponed until December 6 and, again this week, until February 2008. Cardin, an ardent supporter of legal aid, is seeking advocates' input on the legal, policy and practical consequences of this growing civil justice gap for Americans.
