Recruitment and Retention Committee

The Recruitment and Retention Committee makes recommendations to the Civil Policy Group regarding loan repayment assistance programs and other policies designed to improve the ability of legal aid programs to recruit and retain diverse, high quality staff.

NLADA has published a report analyzing the results of a survey conducted in the fall of 2006 of civil legal aid attorneys 35 years old and younger, with recommendations to address the growing crisis in the recruitment and retention of attorneys in civil legal aid practice.
