Train the Trainers

The week starts with the Train the Trainers Conference – a learning event that will model the use of adult learning principles, providing an interactive experience for public defender trainers, supervisors, administrative staff and others– anyone whose job responsibilities include the development or implementation of training.

Participants will join one of three training tracks:
• Designing a Training Program
• Developing Effective Presentations
• Feedback as a Training Tool & Small Group Facilitation

Nuts & Bolts

To be a successful manager you need a successful theory of management or supervision. Just as it takes a good theory of defense to win a criminal trial, it takes a good theory of management or supervision to solve problems in your office.

This seminar will help you learn to identify and develop your own skills, and use them to fashion a theory of management or supervision that will solve the problems and identify opportunities in your work.
