The National Legal Aid and Defender Association (NLADA) is a national, non-profit membership association that advocates equal justice, and supports and promotes access to and excellence in the delivery of defender and civil legal aid to people who cannot afford attorneys.

Every day the NLADA team works to ensure that front-line civil legal aid attorneys and public defenders have access to cutting-edge resources to better serve their clients. The association also advocates before Congress and regulatory agencies to protect access to justice in the United States.
