| Position Description: |
|
The Legal Aid Society of Columbus ("LASC") is seeking a Director. LASC is one division of the Ohio State Legal Services Association. The other divisions are Southeastern Ohio Legal Services and the Ohio Poverty Law Center. LASC has its own Board of Trustees which is appointed by the Board of OSLSA. The Director of LASC will report to the Executive Director of OSLSA.
LASC has a current annual budget of approximately $5million and over 50 employees including more than 30 attorneys. LASC provides legal services to low-income residents in 6 counties in central Ohio, including Franklin County where Columbus is located. |

| Requirements: |
|
Candidates must be attorneys with a minimum of 10 years legal experience, licensed to practice in Ohio, eligible to be admitted upon motion, or willing to take the first available Ohio bar examination (in which case successful admission on the first attempt will be a requirement to continue in the position). |
