| Position Description: |
|
Legal Services of Northern Virginia (LSNV) is seeking an experienced attorney to supervise its newly-centralized intake system. LSNV is a nonprofit law firm that provides free civil legal services to low income, elderly, or disabled individuals throughout the Northern Virginia region. The Supervising Attorney for Intake will directly oversee all program intake staff, as well as be responsible for developing and implementing clear and uniform policies and guidelines for assessing applicant eligibility, ensuring prompt and easy public access to legal services, and working with staff to further develop program capacity to provide immediate telephonic legal advice. In addition, the attorney will maintain his or her own limited, but active caseload of brief service and advice and counsel cases |

| Requirements: |
|
VA Bar required (or ability to immediately waive in). Bilingual ability (Spanish) is a plus. |
